colors of the seasons

Every season seems to have a color that you think of when a mention of that season. 

Spring - pastels, 

Summer - brights, 

Autumn - browns & orange, 

Winter - red and green?? 

Aren't they Christmas colors?? 

When I hear 'Winter' I think of blue and white. 

That color combination just screams fluffy snow to me.
